We plan to provide educational support not only to teachers and support staff of Laker International School but also to those of other schools in the district. We want to make it possible for volunteers to travel to Kitgum to help schools and the local communities. Volunteers will conduct workshops and trainings on pertinent issues that affect the education curriculum and the community as a whole. Other activities volunteers could help with include construction work, advisory roles. While helping UKEF to achieve its mission, the volunteers will gain practical experience, learn the local cultures and build relationships.
